SUPPORTING AGE CONCERN CEREDIGION
We are living in an ageing society and in the future more people than ever will be at risk of living in poverty, suffering neglect, discrimination and terrible isolation. The need for our support is certain to increase.
Each year, we help thousands of older people in lots of different ways and together we can really make a difference.
There are many ways in which you can support us:
Donate
Please help us improve the lives of older people in Ceredigion by making a donation using any of the following methods; by post, in cash using one of our many collection boxes, standing order or payroll giving.
All donations support local people in and around Ceredigion. Please make cheques payable to Age Concern Ceredigion.
Gift Aid
If you are an individual paying income tax and have chosen to use the postal method for your donation, please complete our Gift Aid Declaration by clicking on this link Gift Aid Declaration Form; print it and return it with your donation.
Leave a legacy
Safeguard the future of older people by remembering us with a gift in your Will.
In Memoriam
Pay tribute to the life of a much-loved friend or relative. Please remember your loved one by supporting us with a donation in lieu of flowers.
Volunteering with Age Concern
Over 50,000 people volunteer with Age Concerns, across the country. That is about five volunteers for every paid member of staff. More than half of these volunteers are aged 50 years and over, yet despite these numbers we still need more people to offer us their time, skills, knowledge and experience to help support our work.
Why Volunteer?
Age Concern Ceredigion is the first charity in the county to achieve the Investors in Volunteers Award a quality mark which will enhance both the volunteer experience and services to clients.
We involve volunteers of ALL ages and welcome people from all areas of our diverse communities. Different people get different things from volunteering, but some of the most popular reasons are to gain new skills, share knowledge, have fun or give something back to the community.
The range of volunteering activities we offer can be surprising, some may be for you and some may not. You can volunteer to work at a local Age Concern office- every Age Concern offers something different locally.
